- TGF Member Club Programming: Designed to engage families and individuals throughout the entire year, this programming ensures a golfing experience that goes beyond the traditional season.
- TGF Golf Academy Programming: Geared towards helping players reach the coveted “Next Level” of their game, our Golf Academy programs empower golfers to continuously grow and develop their skills during the winter months.
Our visionary, Marcus DeKeyser, a PGA Professional with over 24 years of experience, spearheaded the creation and design of The Golf Facility. Drawing from his extensive background as a Head PGA Professional at prestigious private country clubs in the Midwest and his role as a Division 1A Men’s Assistant Golf Coach, Marcus has meticulously crafted this facility. His perspective as a golfer has informed every aspect of its design, ensuring an environment that ignites the passion of players at all levels and inspires them to elevate their game.
Bio for Owner Marcus DeKeyser, PGA:
Marcus DeKeyser’s golf journey began as the assistant coach of the Illinois State Men’s Golf Team in Bloomington, IL, during the 2000 and 2001 seasons. He then honed his skills as an assistant professional at esteemed golf clubs like El Paso Golf Club (El Paso, IL), Crestwicke Country Club (Bloomington, IL), and Fort Wayne Country Club (Fort Wayne, IL) from 2002 to 2010.
His career as a Head Golf Professional spanned from 2011 to 2021, during which he played a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of membership at three facilities: Ivy Hills Country Club (Cincinnati, OH), Tartan Fields Golf Club (Columbus, OH), and Prestwick Country Club (Frankfort, IL). Prior to launching The Golf Facility, Marcus served as the lead putter fitter at Bettinardi Golf from 2022 to 2023, where he conducted over 1,500 putter fittings.
Today, Marcus brings his wealth of experience as a leader, golf instructor, director of golf, and devoted family man to The Golf Facility. He is happily married to his wife, Amy, and they share the joys of parenthood with their four children: Avalyn, Everly, Zion, and Elias.
